1. Why have you set up this membership?
Firstly when I went on my own personal burnout journey and recovery, there were several things that I learned about myself along the way that I wish I'd had a little bit of help with. Some of these things were to do with my professional development, and some of these things were to do with my personal development. I also really felt that I lacked community and support whilst I was going on my development journey. I am hoping to be able to share what I've learned with this membership. But this membership isn't just for people who are going through burnout, or for those of you who are feeling a bit stressed at work, it's for anyone who wants to improve how they function at work, it's for anyone who wants to create a sustainable and a fulfilling career within medicine. They will be covering the essential topics for living and working well in healthcare that isn’t covered in traditional medical training.
2. What themes and topics will be covered?
Each month there will be a different theme that we will cover. Both the contents of the box and the monthly training will reflect the theme that has been picked. We will be covering topics such as mindset, perfectionism, goal setting, career development, self-care, amongst many others!
3. What do I get with my subscription?
Every month you will receive a package consisting of at least 3 items. There will always be a book in the package. The book is there to read and reflect on, and then you can attend our monthly book club, if you wish. The other items will either be self-care or stationery items. You will also have access to a new online training video each month, provided by Dr Ashley, and based on a different topic each time, plus access to an online community of supportive and like-minded medics!
4. Who is this membership suitable for?
This membership is for any healthcare professional. You don't have to be a doctor to join. The topics that we're going to be covering are all going to be about non-clinical skills and non-clinical knowledge. This will be applicable to anyone that works within the NHS who is looking to work on their personal or professional development in a way that is not provided in their day to day career plan.
5. How much is the subscription?
The cheapest option available to you is to have a six-month subscription where the box is £30 a month, a 3-month subscription is £33 a month, and a monthly rolling contract when you can cancel at any time is £35 a month. The value of what's going to be in the box itself - so the physical products that you're going to get every month - will at least match if not exceed what you are paying in terms of your monthly subscription. However, you are not only going to be getting the physical products but you're also going to be getting the online membership too, which will consist of training with Dr Ashley and access to a book club and online community.
6. How much is shipping?
Shipping is included in the price of the box.
7. Where do you ship to?
Currently, we only ship within the UK, but we would consider shipping abroad in the future!
8. What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel at any time. If you have a rolling monthly contract then your membership will come to an end immediately and you will not need to continue paying. However, if you have committed to a 3 month or a 6-month subscription, whilst you can cancel at any time, you are committed to continuing to pay until the end of the 3 or 6 month period that you have agreed to sign up for.
9. What if I'm unhappy with the box or the membership?
It is really important to me that I provide good value for my community and that this membership exceeds your expectations. So if there is a problem with your box please get in touch with me. If your box arrives damaged or if the goods are faulty then, of course, you are entitled to a no quibble refund. If you've got concerns about the content of what I'm providing then I will be offering regular opportunities for feedback. I will tailor the products and the training according to the needs of my community.
10. When will I receive my order?
Subscribe before the 4th of the month to get this month’s box! We ship on the 18th of each month.
